《文化地圖》主辦：《Playful Rebels – 香港漫畫與攝影書展》

介紹：

每年一度的伙炭藝術工作室開放日均有數十個駐於火炭的工作室與畫廊開放，透過展覽或與藝術家對談，向公眾介紹當中的藝術創意。2009年1月10-11, 17-18日的開放日便約有180位藝術家和60個工作室參與。參觀人次逾4,000之多，主要是中學與大學生，其次是文化藝術圈人士與市民。關注社區藝術與創意教育的《文化地圖》也是開放日的參與單位。

從火炭社區推廣香港視覺藝術與藝術教育：為了在社區推廣香港視覺藝術與藝術教育，《文化地圖》在2009年的開放日，主辦了一個漫畫藝術展與一個香港紀實攝影書展，名為《Playful Rebels – 香港漫畫與攝影書展》。

火炭藝術村是各地藝術策展人尋找藝術家的地方。而浸會大學視覺研究系與浸會大學視覺藝術學院都是近年新辦。兩系學生因學校偏遠，與其他院校藝術系學生聯繫不多，而未有機會在火炭展出作品。於是我們主動在浸會與浸會發掘兩位富有創意的學生，「大舊」與「大頭」，在《文化地圖》的火炭工作室內實地創作實驗性漫畫，同時讓嶺大的學生參與策展工作。國際藝術策展人兼中文大學宗教與文化研究課程主任何慶基先生亦為是次展覽書寫序言以示支持。我們希望推動本土藝術創作之餘，也讓觀眾(包括不同院校的學生)藉以彼此認識。

喚起大眾對香港弱勢社群的關注：紀實攝影書展中我們展出社協Society for Community Organization (SoCO) 與文化葫蘆出版的所有攝影集，並義務即場代售。希望透過攝影喚起大眾對香港弱勢社群的關注。

Open Studio of Fotanian 2009

1. •Over 60 artist studios and galleries opened in January 10, 11, 17 and 18 during the Fotanian 2009 and CULTaMAP is one of the studio.

1. •     Aim: We strive to promote local art to audiences.

   

   
   Although Fotan is an art village, most of artists are from CU or RMIT. We strive to promote Hong Kong Young Artists from some new departments of Universities, so that we look for young artist from Academy of Visual Arts of Baptist University and Visual Studies of Lingnan University. Yanz (BU) and Hugo(LU) were the artists we promote.
   

1. •   We invited Mr. Oscar Ho, the international curator to write a preface for them. On the other hand, a lot of audiences had dialogue with Yanz and Hugo for understanding the creative process of making art.
   
   

1. •   Social Concern of Communities:

   

   We wish audiences can concern the subaltern in Hong Kong, so that we display and sell documentary photo books for Society for Community Organization (SoCO).
