Art Statements踫上正在展覽的法國藝術家ZEVS,便詢問他上月在中環遮打大廈外牆塗畫滴流Chanel 商標的行為藝術,而被名店追討因塗畫外牆引致損毀數百萬元的賠償一事。他強調外牆並無損毀,因為滴流Chanel本身使用了大標貼與易清洗的黑色顏料,故不會造成永久性損毀。他原來在這幾年己不斷在巴黎、柏林、紐約等大城市進行同樣的行為藝術,希望令市民反思廣告與名牌對城市人生活的影響。但被告上法庭,也只是這唯一一次。


When I met ZEVS in Art Statements last week, I asked about the performance Liquidated Chanel Logo on Chater House in Central last month. He was claimed millions dollars due to the performance damaged a wall of Chater House. He explained that he used only a big sticker and water paint to do a performance, Every precaution was taken in order to wash the paint very easily and swiftly. He has shown already this liquidated Chanel in public spaces in Berlin, Berlin, New York to question how advertisement of global branding dominates our lives. However, this is the first time he was sued in Hong Kong.
